While we’ve already posted lost resources about early super-critical experiments, two additional open-source documents have found their way to Atomic Reporters. They are:
- A September 1965 Lawrence Radiation Lab study of The Fran Prompt Burst Reactor, an “assembly that can be driven super-critical for the production of short self-limiting fission bursts.” [NOTE: This document is currently incomplete]
- A November 1966 Lab report about the Super Kukla’s Prompt-Burst Reactor Operating Characteristics when used to irradiate test specimens.
